163rd Express Entry draw has invited candidates to apply for permanent residence on September 16.

The CRS scores were 472, three points lower than the earlier draws. This is the biggest draw since the process resumed in the month of July.

This the second all program draw in weeks terms and 4,200 Invitations to apply were issued to apply for permanent residence in Canada were issued in this draw.

4,200 ITAs issued in an Express Entry round in this draw matched the one that was held on September 2, Which makes this the second largest draw ever. The invitation to such huge number reflects the strength of the country and their interest in welcoming the immigrants.

Express Entry is the application system that manages the pool of candidates for Canada’s three main economic immigration classes — the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)  and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The highest-ranked candidates in the Express Entry pool are issued ITAs in regular invitation rounds. A set number of the highest-ranked candidates are invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence through regular draws from the pool. These invitation rounds typically take place every two weeks and the vast majority involve candidates from all three Express Entry-managed categories.”- CIC NEWS

The total number of ITA’S issued after the latest draw are 74,150, which is a new record established. Tie-breaker rule was used in this draw. The time period under consideration was March 9, 2020, at 13:03:40 UTC. All the candidates with a CRS score f 472 and candidates with scores of 472 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before the selected date and time will receive their ITA in this round.
