B.C. PNP DRAW FOR TECHIES

72 Techies receive their invites in a new draw for their B.C. PNP. Technically skilled application for the provincial nominees are invited to apply for their permanent residence by British Colombia province. August 25, Invitations were concentrated to foreign tech workers and international student.

B.C. holds a weekly tech pilot draw launched in 2017. this allows the candidates with jobs offers in multiple eligible occupations to shoot their shot in the provincial nominee draw. This helps British Colombia’s Techs sectors recruiters and the Tech workers to supply the demand.

The most recent draw on 25 August issued, the minimum score required in both subcategory was 80 and everything else was similar to the previous draw held on August 11.
For the candidates to apply they need to create a profile on B.C. PNP portal (SIRS). Factors that could affect that score are the

  • The level of education

  • Work Experience

  • Proficiency in English

  • Location of Employment

Express Entry candidate with a nomination from B.C. will have 600 points added to their profile. PNP – Express entry and specific express entry draws B.C. and other provinces such as Ontario lead to higher-tech immigration on P.R. status Due to the constant requirement irrespective of the pandemic.
